Day 8: Friday 27 September - Tokyo

With lots of hugs and tears, we sadly farewelled our Shinjo friends at the train station early this morning. Bound for Tokyo by the Shinkansen, we arrived at our beautiful hotel situated at Sunshine City in the Ikebukuro district. After some free time exploring the large shopping and entertainment complex, we ventured to Mazaria - a virtual reality gaming arcade. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable time playing with and against each other in many different VR worlds.

Day 7: Thursday 26 September - Shinjo Higashi School Visit

Our final day at Shinjo East High School! We participated in many different lessons today including Japanese, English, Sport, Maths and History. In these lessons, we enjoyed working in small groups with Shinjo students which helped us with our Japanese . The highlight of the day was our farewell party organized by the students of Shinjo Higashi. We have made many new friends at our host school and with our host families, and it was a little sad that our school experience was coming to an end. We are now looking forward to our city experiences in Tokyo....and of course Disneyland!

Day 11: Monday 31 September - Disneyland

We have thoroughly enjoyed an action-packed, magical day at Disneyland! Having our own personal Disneyland expert on tour with us, Mr Morris was super excited to make sure we all had a fantastic experience. After a wonderful 12 days in Japan, we are looking forward to coming home.
